Glyphico terms

These terms govern accounts, the creation and management of QR codes, and purchases of Glyphico service. Following a managed QR link does not require an account or acceptance of these terms. Read them with our Pricing, Refund Policy and Privacy information.

“We” and “the operator” mean the operator identified at the end of these terms. “The service” means Glyphico’s website, tools for creating and managing QR codes, and the managed links through which scans are redirected. These currently operate at glyphi.co and qrhop.cc. Paddle is the seller of paid orders, as explained below.

What the service provides

Glyphico lets you create QR codes from pictures and manage the links associated with them. A managed link redirects scans to a destination you choose while the code’s service is active. Changing the destination does not require reprinting the code.

Available tools, export formats, supporting features and usage limits are described in the service. The description shown before purchase identifies the features and access included in that purchase. Buying access does not transfer ownership of our domains.

Test a finished code on the devices, print size, material and lighting you intend to use before distributing it. We do not control the availability, content or safety of destination websites. Any destination checks or related notifications we offer are advisory and do not guarantee that a destination is available.

Your account and permitted use

You must be at least 18 years old and have reached the age of majority where you live. You must also have authority to act for any organisation whose workspace you manage. Use an email address you control, protect your sign-in credentials and take responsibility for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

One person may hold one account. Do not create additional accounts to evade limits or restrictions. Applicable usage limits are shown in your account. Paying for access does not remove safety restrictions or other applicable limits.

Use the service only for lawful purposes. Do not upload material or choose destinations that infringe others’ rights, or use the service for phishing, malware, fraud or other unlawful activity. We may limit an account, or block a code that is used for fraud or abuse, poses a security risk, or leads to unlawful or infringing content. A blocked code stops redirecting, as a paused one does, and keeps its paid period; only we can lift the block. Urgent protective action may be taken without advance notice. Anyone may report a harmful link, or ask about a restriction or a block, at support@glyphi.co.

Your content and QR codes

You retain your rights in the pictures you upload and must have the rights needed to use them. You give us permission to store and process them, create QR codes from them, display them back to you and use them within Glyphico to improve the quality of its codes. We do not publish your uploaded pictures. People you authorise through workspace access or a code transfer may receive the associated content. Our Privacy information explains how we process personal data.

You may download, print and use the QR codes you create. A downloaded file does not provide an independent or perpetual right to our managed-link service: its link depends on the service remaining available and the code having active access.

A saved code keeps its link when you change its destination. Creating a different code may require separate access, as shown in the service. We do not reassign an existing code’s link identifier to another code, including after expiry or deletion.

Purchases and service periods

Before you confirm a purchase, we identify the code or service access covered, the period, the price and currency, and whether it renews automatically. Current offers are described on our Pricing page. The total payable, including applicable taxes collected by Paddle, is shown before you confirm. Your bank or payment provider may charge separately for currency conversion.

Access is provided for the period agreed at purchase. Your account shows its status and relevant dates. Extensions and any temporary access affect those dates as described in Pricing and shown before purchase.

Confirming an order alone does not grant the period being purchased; payment must be received. Any temporary access follows the conditions shown in the service and does not remove other valid access periods. If a payment’s status is unclear, contact support before paying again.

Routine changes to pricing, available periods or offers apply to future purchases and do not change a purchase already agreed. The protections in “Changes to the service and these terms” also apply to features and usage limits.

Paddle and payment support

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

For product and technical support, contact support@glyphi.co; for orders and payments, contact Paddle’s buyer support.

Paid orders are also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, together with our Refund Policy. Enter payment details only in Paddle’s checkout; never send us full card details.

Automatic renewal and expiry

When you buy a paid period where renewal is available, you choose to buy it with or without automatic renewal: a paid renewal starts only if you expressly choose it. A period provided without charge renews automatically, without charge, unless you turn renewal off. A renewal repeats the period at the price you agreed to, or the period and price you later choose with Change renewal…. You can turn renewal off through the service; your account shows whether cancellation has been confirmed.

Turning renewal off preserves the period already paid for and does not itself refund a payment. A cancellation made close to a renewal may still be processing when the payment is taken. If that happens, contact us or Paddle; our Refund Policy and your statutory rights apply.

Restoring a code, changing an access setting or receiving a transferred code does not authorise automatic renewal. A new purchase and your agreement are required to enable it.

Any continuation after a period ends, and how a purchase during it affects service dates, is described in Pricing and shown in the service. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may retry it during that continuation. If it remains unpaid when that time ends, we ask Paddle to stop the renewal. Until cancellation is confirmed, a payment may still complete; our Refund Policy and your statutory rights apply. A purchase without automatic renewal creates no further charge.

When no valid access remains, the managed link stops redirecting. Its identifier remains reserved for the code, so renewing access can reactivate the same printed code if the code has not been permanently deleted. Expiry of one period does not remove another valid period or entitlement.

Special access arrangements

We may offer trials, promotional access or other exceptions to the usual payment requirements. Their scope and duration are stated when granted or in the account. They do not create a general entitlement to free service. An individually agreed entitlement continues on its agreed terms.

Ending access provided without charge never creates a charge for that time or enables automatic renewal. Before requiring payment to keep such a code working, we give reasonable advance notice by email of the date and options, observing any longer commitment or notice required by law.

Managing and transferring codes

The service explains available controls and their effect before you use them. A paid period runs only while its code is on. Pausing a code stops its paid period from running for as long as the code stays paused and adds that time to the period's end; it also turns automatic renewal off. Only a paused code can be archived: it stays stopped in the archive, keeping what is left of its period, until you restore it, paused. A code deleted from the archive keeps that time while it can still be recovered; once it is erased, the time left is lost.

Where transfers are available, a transfer takes effect only when the recipient accepts it. The recipient then controls the code with its existing service entitlement. The giver’s payment method does not transfer, and the giver’s automatic renewal stops. Deleting or archiving a code also stops its automatic renewal.

Refunds and complaints

Our Refund Policy explains refunds, including our full refund commitment for requests made within 14 calendar days of a successful payment, and the effect on the access that payment bought. It applies to initial purchases, extensions and renewals. Turning renewal off and requesting a refund are separate actions.

Contact support@glyphi.co or Paddle’s buyer support with the email used for payment and the order reference. Never send full card details. These processes do not restrict statutory rights or your right to dispute a payment with your bank.

Closing your account

To close your account, write to support@glyphi.co from its email address. We stop its renewals and delete the account and content held only for it, subject to the retention described in our Privacy information. The managed links of codes erased with the account stop working and their identifiers are not reused.

Closing an account does not itself refund a payment or erase records Paddle must keep. Codes already transferred or retained in a shared workspace stay with their recipients or remaining workspace members.

Availability and liability

We provide paid service with reasonable care but do not promise a particular availability percentage. Hosting, maintenance, internet connectivity and other providers may interrupt the service. Report interruptions to us; the Refund Policy and statutory remedies apply. Do not rely on a managed QR link as the sole means of reaching emergency or safety-critical information.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or reprinting costs. Our total liability for a code’s service is limited to the amount paid for that service in the 12 months before the claim; for service provided without charge, that amount is zero.

This does not limit an agreed refund, Paddle’s own obligations as seller, or any liability, remedies or consumer rights that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

Changes to the service and these terms

We may develop and change features, interfaces, technical processes, usage limits and offers as the service evolves. Routine changes that do not materially reduce agreed access or substantive rights do not require an amendment to these terms. The current service information describes how those features work.

Updating a webpage or the interface does not by itself amend an existing purchase or override these terms. A change never raises the price of a purchase already agreed or shortens a period already paid for.

For a material change affecting your codes, data, price, liability or other substantive rights, we give reasonable advance notice by email, taking account of its effect on your use and any notice required by law. Legal requirements or urgent security risks may require earlier action. Where your agreement is required, we ask for it and do not infer it from continued use. You may stop using the service and close your account before the effective date if you do not accept a change. Your refund and statutory rights remain available.

When these terms change, we publish the new text with its date on glyphi.co. Corrections, clarifications and changes that do not reduce your rights may take effect on publication.

If we discontinue the managed-link service, we give account holders reasonable advance notice by email where possible and any notice required by law, stop renewals and refund or otherwise settle paid time we cannot provide under the Refund Policy and applicable law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Georgia, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or access to courts available where they live. We first try to resolve disagreements by email. If that fails, the courts of Georgia have jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory consumer rights. This does not replace the law or dispute terms applying to your purchase from Paddle.
